"Geordie Shore" star and "Celebrity Big Brother" winner Scotty T (Scott Timlin) is writing a memoir, to be published by Simon & Schuster.
Nicki Crossley, non-fiction commissioning editor at Simon & Schuster UK, bought British and Commonwealth rights to A Shore Thing from David Riding at MBA.
The book will be a funny and frank account from the tearaway Toon, giving an exclusive and behind-the-scenes glimpse into the hit MTV show and infamous tales that have seen him splashed across the tabloids. In the book, he is set to reveal "scandalous secrets" from "Geordie Shore", "Ex on the Beach" and "Celebrity Big Brother" and "open up about his wild antics when the cameras stop rolling," according to the publisher.
Scotty T will also open up about living with ADHD, how he coped with the sudden breakdown of his parents’ marriage and how he picked up the pieces after the tragic loss of a loved one.
He said: “I would love to follow in the footsteps of Vicky and Charlotte and have another number one book for our Geordie team. I can’t wait to tell everyone my crazy story. This is going to be a tell-all account, so be prepared to be shocked.”
Crossley added: “Scotty has had a brilliant start to the year with his win in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and we can’t wait to round off 2016 for him with his tell-all memoir this autumn. Expect gossip, drama and a side to Scotty which we haven’t seen before.”
Scotty T was crowned winner of Celebrity Big Brother in February 2016. He has 3m followers across his social media platforms.
