S&S Children’s announces NSPCC partnership

S&S Children’s is partnering with the NSPCC for the 10th anniversary edition of the picture book Aliens Love Underpants.

Aliens Love Underpants, by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort, was the first book in the ‘Underpants’ series that also includes Dinosaurs Love Underpants and Pirates Love Underpants. Sales of Aliens Love Underpants have totalled 594,340 copies for £2.58m over the past decade, according to Nielsen BookScan.

With the new “deluxe” edition, out in April next year (p/b, £6.99), S&S Children’s will donate 50p for every copy sold to the NSPCC.

The anniversary will also be marked with a series of Underpants books throughout the year, including cased board books and sticker titles.
