Steve Cole to pen Young Bond for RHCP
Astrostaurs author Steve Cole has been selected as the author of a new Young Bond series by Ian Fleming Publications, Random House Children’s Publishers has announced.
Cole has also written Doctor Who tie-ins and the Werelings series. His titles have earned over £7.1m through Nielsen BookScan.
RHCP acquired UK and Commonwealth rights in four titles from Jonny Geller at Curtis Brown on behalf of Ian Fleming Publications Ltd. Curtis Brown will represent all foreign rights.
The new Young Bond titles will pick up where previous author Charlie Higson left off and will follow the future 007 in the aftermath of his expulsion from Eton. Cole’s first in the series will launch in autumn 2014.
