Pride Publishing to release first gay romance paperback

Totally Entwined Group's new imprint Pride Publishing is releasing its first gay romance paperback, a book about two gay cage fighters.

Due to hit the UK high street in time for Valentine’s Day this year, Fighter by Carol Lynne follows two gay men living in a world of straight fighters, for whom the hardest fight of their lives happens outside the cage. It follows characters Dray and Lucky, two men who are brought together when their mixed martial arts trainer is diagnosed with cancer. Dray, forced to drop out of the profession years ago after the media discovered his "secret", must decide whether or not to fight for the only man he's ever loved, while Lucky finds himself torn between his career and his passion.

Pride Publishing currently releases up to four new gay romance every week. It was launched by Totally Entwined Group in July 2015 to give “GLBTQI authors and readers the platform and community they deserve to express themselves” and to actively push gay romance fiction into the mainstream. To date, 90% of Pride Publishing’s readers purchasing gay romance fiction are women, the publisher said.

Totally Entwined acquired world international rights in Fighter from the author directly. The book publishes on 9th February, priced £7.99.
