Trapeze to publish parody cookbook Stranger Fillings

Trapeze is publishing Stranger Fillings by The Muffin Brothers, a new spoof cookbook from the creators of Baking Bad, Game of Scones and The Walking Bread.

Anna Valentine, publisher at Trapeze, Orion Publishing Group, bought world rights, all languages, in the book from Rory Scarfe at Furniss Lawton to publish with Trapeze on 19th October 2017. US rights have been pre-empted by Running Press. 

As inspired by the Netflix series "Stranger Things", retro recipes from the "80s-tastic" cookbook include Elle's Eleven Eggos, Joyce's Alphabet Soup, Mike's Secret Crush and DemoGorgon-zola Tart. 

The book will publish ahead of series two of "Stranger Things", which starts on 31st October 2017. The show has been watched by 14.1m people and is the "most-Googled" programme of 2016, according to Valentine.
