Nosy Crow has created a new board book, published by Unicef, that will be given to new parents in Scotland to celebrate this year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Baby, I Love You is a simple board book that is about the love a parent has for his or her child. The words are written to the rhythm of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and the book is illustrated by Helen Stephens. It will be given given to mothers of all Scottish babies born in Scotland between the 2014 games and the 2018 games in Australia
There is also an audio version of the book, read by EwancMcGregor, which is available on the Unicef website.
The book is part of Unicef’s Put Children First partnership with the organisers of the Commonwealth games, aimed at raising money to support its work with children all over the world. During the opening ceremony of the games, viewers will be invited to make a donation to Put Children First.
