Wicks sticks with Bluebird
Joe “The Body Coach” Wicks has signed up for further books with Pan Macmillan imprint Bluebird, with publisher Carole Tonkinson securing world rights to two titles from Bev James of Bev James Management.
A recipes and exercises paperback and a hardback cookery tome will be released in January and August 2019 respectively, with Wicks now contracted for a total of eight titles with the imprint. Tonkinson said: “Joe was the first author we signed at Bluebird: he is an immense talent and a lovely person, and the partnership with Joe and Bev is a tremendous privilege.”
Wicks has been the UK’s breakout star of 2016, with his Lean in 15 and Lean in 15: The Shape Plan shifting a total of 1.3 million units, for £10.9m, through bookscan UK since December 2015.
