In a nutshell, I read books for a living. I interview authors for The Bookseller's weekly Author Profile slot and write the monthly New Titles: Fiction round-up, an overview of all hardback, trade paperback and paperback original titles across all fiction genres. It involves a lot of reading; I used to average three books a week but having two young children has put paid to that...although I do spend a lot of time reading to them.
Favourite Books: Very difficult to choose as I find a new favourite every month, but a novel I've loved for years is The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford
