Children's: Donaldson and Scheffler's The Baddies scuttles to the top

Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s The Baddies (Alison Green) notched up the Children’s number one with 12,284 copies sold. The author-illustrator duo knocked their own Badger’s Band (Macmillan), published in June, from the top of the Pre-School top 20.

Karen M McManus’ Nothing More to Tell (Penguin) débuted atop the Children’s and YA Fiction chart, selling 7,730 copies. Elizabeth Lim’s The Dragon Promise (Hodder & Stoughton) charted second, as Stephen Mulhern and Tom Easton’s Max Magic (Piccadilly) and Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ The Final Gambit (Penguin) also débuted.
