Lexi Ryan’s fantasy YA title These Twisted Bonds débuted in 14th place in Children’s & YA Fiction, as Walliams and Tony Ross’ Slime entered the chart in paperback for the first time. The title’s hardback spent four weeks in the overall number one across Lockdown 1.0, over two years ago.
Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Badger’s Band returned to the Pre-School number one, while Marcus Rashford and Carl Anka’s second kids’ non-fiction title You Can Do It, the follow-up to the quarter-of-a-million-copy bestseller You Are a Champion, débuted in the Children’s Non-fiction number one and placed seventh in the overall Children’s top 20.
