Children's: Robodog reclaims the top spot
In the coronation vacuum, David Walliams and Adam Stower’s Robodog (HarperCollins) returned to the Children’s number one, with Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man 11: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea (Scholastic) making it a canine-themed top two. Stephen Mulhern and Tom Easton’s second Max Magic title The Greatest Show on Earth (Piccadilly) débuted in fourth, with the 2022-published original returning to Children’s & YA Fiction in 18th.
Bluey was the most forward-thinking of all the dogs in the kids’ bestseller charts last week, with Bluey: My Dad is Awesome (Ladybird) hitting the Pre-School number one a whole month ahead of Father’s Day. The ever-popular Where’s Spidey? (Studio Press) swung back up the top 20 to narrowly trail Bluey in the runner-up spot.
