Children's: Spaceboy rockets back to the top

David Walliams and Adam Stower’s Spaceboy (HarperCollins) returned to the Children’s number one for the first time since mid-October, leapfrogging Jeff Kinney’s Diper Överlöde (Puffin) after a longer-than-usual run in the top spot for the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid title.
Where’s Spidey? (Studio Press) crawled into a second week atop the Pre-school chart, as the only non-festive title in the top 10. Dav Pilkey’s Cat Kid Comic Club 4 (Scholastic) débuted in 11th place.

Advent calendar book collections, including Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s The Gruffalo and Friends edition (Macmillan), the Disney Storybook Collection (Autumn) and Peppa Pig (Ladybird), soared up the category top 20 for the last week of November.
