The Prime Day-boosted Where’s Spidey? (Studio Press) swung into the Pre-school number one, joined by the similarly discounted Dear Zoo (Macmillan Children’s), pushing the previous week’s number one, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Badger’s Band (Macmillan Children’s), into third place.
With the summer holidays fast approaching, Dr Seuss’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go! (HarperCollins Children’s) climbed into the Pre-school top five, mirroring the effect the classic picture book has on the book charts across the pond this time of year. Four 3-in-1 Colouring Books rose up the top 20, as did two of Rhiannon Fielding and Chris Chatterton’s Ten Minutes to Bed titles—perhaps more important than ever during the long hours of daylight.
David Walliams and Adam Stower’s The World’s Worst Pets (HarperCollins) reigned in the Children’s number one for a 12th week, with Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper Volume 2 (Hodder) racking up the runner-up spot.
