J M Dalgliesh’s The Raven Song (Hamilton) fluttered into the Bookstat e-book number one spot for the week ending 4th June. This is Dalgliesh’s first week in the chart’s top spot, though he has been a regular feature in the weekly top 10 since 2020.
Miranda Cowley Heller’s The Paper Palace (Penguin) dropped to second place, as Rosie Walsh’s The Love of My Life (Mantle) entered the top 10 in third. Emily Henry’s Book Lovers (Penguin) returned in fourth as Christie Barlow’s The New Doctor at Peony Practice (One More Chapter) débuted in fifth.
With the turn of the month, many new Kindle Unlimited titles hit the chart, with the Amazon-published Hilary Tailer’s The Vanishing Tide (Lake Union), David J Gatward’s Blood Trail (Weirdstone) and Lucinda Berry’s Under Her Care (Thomas & Mercer) thundering in.
Lucinda Riley’s The Murders at Fleat House (Macmillan) charted top of the Publisher E-Book Ranking for the week ending 28th May, in its first week on sale. It topped the Original Fiction chart the same week. Nora Roberts’ Nightwork (Little,Brown) débuted in fifth place, with Rosie Andrews’ The Leviathan (Raven) and Anna Jacobs’ A Valley Wedding (Hodder & Stoughton) also entering the top 10.
With The Man Who Died Twice (Penguin) reigning in the print charts, both titles in Richard Osman’s cosy crime duology flew high in the Publisher E-Book Ranking, claiming second and sixth place
