Davina McCall and Dr Naomi Potter’s Menopausing (HQ) was the second-highest entry in the Top 50, selling 14,421 copies, scoring second in the Hardback Non-Fiction chart as Jamie Oliver’s One (Michael Joseph) held firm for a third week. Adam Kay’s Undoctored (Trapeze) rushed into third place, with former actor Jennette McCurdy’s memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died (S&S) and cookbook Fresh Mob (Hodder & Stoughton) débuting in fourth and fifth place respectively.
The 2015 edition of Mario Reading’s Nostradamus: The Complete Prophesies for the Future (Watkins) rocketed 2,369% week on week, selling 7,805 copies and claiming the Paperback Non-Fiction number one. The book’s prediction that the Queen would die in 2022 seemed to have sparked sales in the last week. However, the book does go on to predict Charles will prove so unpopular as monarch that he will end up stepping aside for, er, Prince Harry, at some point in the next year. Hopefully Harry will still be able to fit in his PRH memoir marketing commitments in between coronation duties.
