Cathy Glass’ Neglected (HarperCollins) topped Paperback Non-Fiction for the author’s 11th in the category chart top spot. The foster carer memoirist has racked up five of those top spots in the last year alone. Bruce Jones’ Formula One 2022 (Welbeck) entered in the top 20 in fourth, followed by Dr Megan Rossi’s Eat More, Live Well (Penguin Life). Hannah Lowe’s Costa Book of the Year The Kids (Bloodaxe) debuted in the chart in 15th place, with rainy half-term holiday favourite the Natural History Museum: Souvenir Guide charting in 16th. Kids Only, the children’s guide to the former home of Dippy the Diplodocus, also boomeranged back into the Children’s Non-Fiction chart.
In Hardback Non-Fiction, Pinch of Nom Comfort Food (Bluebird) notched up a 10th week in the top spot, with TikTok psychologist Dr Julie Smith’s Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? (Michael Joseph) once again claiming second.
