Jamie Oliver’s One (Michael Joseph) spent a fourth week in the Hardback Non-fiction top spot, as Adam Kay’s Undoctored (Trapeze) rose to second place. Nick Cave and Seán O’Hagan’s Faith, Hope and Carnage (Canongate) débuted in seventh place, with Michael Palin’s Into Iraq (Hutchinson Heinemann) hitting 13th place.
Stanley Tucci’s Taste (Fig Tree), Waterstones’ Non-Fiction Book of the Month, leapfrogged Mario Reading’s Nostradamus (Watkins) to claim the Paperback Non-fiction number one. The 2015-published edition of Reading’s title dropped in sales after a spike a week ago, after it predicted the Queen’s death would happen in 2022, but other Queen-related titles climbed the charts in the week of her funeral. Country Life’s Elizabeth II: A Celebration (Future) hit second place, with A Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II (Future) charting sixth.
