Non-Fiction: Revenge makes a regal entrance at the top of the Hardback Non-fiction chart
Tom Bower’s Revenge stormed into second place in the Top 50, knocking Dr Julie Smith’s Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? from the Hardback Non-fiction pole. The Meghan-and-Harry exposé is the second of its very specific genre to hit the category chart top spot, with Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand’s Finding Freedom charting in the overall top spot in August 2020. Tina Brown’s The Palace Papers has already sold more than 31,000 copies since its publication in late April.
Primary school teachers and podcasters Lee and Adam Parkinson’s This is Your Own Time You’re Wasting chalked up third place in the Hardback Non-fiction chart, as their previous title, Put a Wet Paper Towel On It, bounced up into 17th in Paperback Non-fiction.
Miriam Margolyes’ This Much is True reigned for a third week in the Paperback Non-fiction pole, as Billy Connolly’s Windswept & Interesting breezed into second place.
