Richard Osman's The Man Who Died Twice (Penguin) has scored a second week atop the Amazon Charts' Most-Sold: Fiction chart, as its predecessor The Thursday Murder Club (Penguin) once again charts in second place.
The sequel, which spent a second week in the Nielsen BookScan Total Consumer Market's top spot in hardback last week, earned the "highly quotable" tag, meaning Kindle users highlighted passages more frequently than in other books in the chart. The Man Who Died Twice also topped the Most-Read: Fiction chart in its first full week on sale.
Neil Gaiman and Dirk Maggs' The Sandman II (Audible Originals) debuted in third place in Most-Sold: Fiction, racking up more pre-orders than any other title.
Bob Mortimer's And Away... (Gallery UK) held the Most-Sold: Non-Fiction top spot, as Miriam Margoyles' This Much is True (John Murray) bounced up into second place. Mrs Hinch's Life in Lists (Michael Joseph), announced last week for publication in October, debuted in third.
