Delia Owens' Where the Crawdads Sing (Corsair) has struck the right note with the book-buying public, rising to the top of the Amazon Charts' Most-Sold: Fiction chart and ending the seemingly unstoppable run of Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club (Viking) in the top spot. Owens' North Carolina-set weepie has been a mainstay in the e-book charts since Lockdown 1.0.

Kay Featherstone and Kate Allinson's Pinch of Nom Quick & Easy (Bluebird) held the Most-Sold: Non-Fiction top spot, though Captain Sir Tom Moore's memoir Tomorrow Will Be a Good Day (Michael Joseph) and picture book One Hundred Steps, illustrated by Adam Larkum, returned to the chart in second and third place respectively, following the announcement of the 100-year-old fundraiser's death last week.
