Audible will next month release an audiobook collection of Beatrix Potter stories, narrated by Andrew Scott.
Scott, who starred as the ‘hot priest’ in Fleabag and Moriarty in Sherlock, will narrate eight classic stories about characters such as Peter Rabbit, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and Jemima Puddle Duck.
The audiobook also includes an introduction from actress Patricia Routledge, who is patron of The Beatrix Potter society.
Beatrix Potter was born in 1866 and, inspired by her love of nature, self-publihsed her first children’s book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, in 1901. By her death in 1943 she had written 30 books and her titles have sold more than 100 million copies worldwide, according to Audible.
The Beatrix Potter Collection will be released on 8th August and is available for pre-order.
