Poet Laureate Simon Armitage and authors John Boyne and Nina Stibbe will be among the lineup at the Tring Book Festival in November.
Started in 2019, the festival is organised by the team at Our Bookshop in Tring, Dacorum. This year, it will run from 3rd to 12th November, featuring speakers including a range of spoken word, fiction and non-fiction authors.
Representing non-fiction will be scientist Adam Rutherford, sportsmen Martin Bayfield and Mike Brearley, as well as The Repair Shop leather expert Suzie Fletcher.
Meanwhile, Armitage will lead a "spoken word" line up, featuring BAFTA-nominated writer and broadcaster Lemn Sissay as well as poet, performer and broadcaster Roger McGough.
Among the line up of fiction authors will be Boyne, author of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (Penguin Random House Children’s UK), Stibbe and Charlie Higson, as well as "Strictly" judge and cosy crime author Shirley Ballas.
The final line up will be announced at the start of September with tickets on general sale shortly afterwards.
