John Ash has joined Creative Artists Agency (CAA) as a literary agent in its books department.
Ash joins CAA in its London office after six years at PEW Literary, where he was part of the original founding team. He brings with him such non-fiction and literary fiction writers as Oliver Darkshire, Rachel Benoît, Kate Molleson, Orlando Whitfield, Missouri Williams and Leah Broad.
Ash’s hiring is part of CAA’s continued expansion of its publishing operations in London. In October, the agency brought its translation rights business in-house and last week announced the hiring of veteran literary agent Karolina Sutton.
The books department is led by Jennifer Joel, Michelle Weiner and Sloan Harris.
