Audible has promoted Lee Jarit to global head of publisher and partner relations, overseeing the audiobook business’s global content-acquisition strategy.
His job will be to form publisher partnerships and independent creator relationships through Audible’s Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX).
Jarit has spent more than a decade at Audible in various roles, most recently as head of ACX and North America publisher partnerships.
Rachel Ghiazza, Audible’s chief content officer, said: “Lee is a highly respected leader who has been instrumental in forging Audible’s vital partnerships with publishers and fuelling our tremendous content growth over the years. His deep industry knowledge, passion for audio storytelling, and commitment to empowering creators make him uniquely qualified to drive our global publishing strategy forward.”
