Audible is debuting two new audio projects from former British Special Forces soldier, documentarian and bestselling author Ant Middleton.
Commissioned by Harriet Poland, Audible secured worldwide English language audio rights to the "Mind Over Muscle: Journey To The Finish Line" podcast and "Mind Over Muscle: The Four Pillar Plan" from Amanda Harris, director of publishing at YMU.
In "Mind Over Muscle: Journey To The Finish Line" podcast, Middleton will be joined by Britan’s second fastest female marathon runner Mara Yamauchi and Performance in Mind founder Dr Josephine Perry, as they look to better understand whether running a marathon can improve your mental health.
In "Mind Over Muscle: The Four Pillar Plan" Middleton discusses the experiences and ideas that have formed his outlook on life over six hours and includes a 28-day challenge inviting the listener to complete positive mindset-building tasks.
Middleton said: “In this podcast and new Audible Original, we‚Äôre going to talk through the changes you need to make in your life to get you through your challenges and achieve your goals. This is your story, your journey; the future starts with you.”
Senior director of business affairs at Audible UK Sean McManus said: “It‚Äôs easy to see why Ant connects so well in audio, given the depth of personality to his voice, the integrity of his message and the ease with which he communicates to anyone. Seeing the 28-day plan he‚Äôs devised for his audience, and the flair with which he‚Äôs used the particular strengths of audio, has been so exciting and we can‚Äôt wait to share it with our audiences.”
Episodes of "Mind Over Muscle: Journey To The Finish Line" podcast release fortnightly. Episode one is available to download now exclusively at www.audible.co.uk/run.
"Mind Over Muscle: The Four Pillar Plan" will be available to download in full from 30th April 2020 exclusively from Audible.
