Avon Books will publish Have You Seen Me? by Kate White.
Senior commissioning editor Tilda McDonald acquired UK and Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) from Ben Fowler at Abner Stein, on behalf of Sandra Dijkstra. The title will be launched in e-book and audio format in August 2020, followed by a paperback in 2021. The title was originally published in April by HarperCollins US.
Have You Seen Me? is a psychological suspense novel which begins will Ally Linden arriving at her office, only to be told she hasn't worked there for years. She has to uncover what event could have made her lose her memory and why she feels as if someone doesn't want her to remember what happened.
McDonald said: "I instantly fell for Have You Seen Me?’s compelling concept – what if you lost your memories, and someone was trying to stop you from recovering them? Kate is a hugely talented writer, already a star in her native US, and I’m very proud to bring her onto Avon’s list."
White, who has written 14 previous novels, commented: "I’m in awe of female British suspense authors – from Agatha Christie to Ruth Rendell to Alex Marwood – and I’m absolutely delighted to have my latest thriller published in the UK with Avon."
