Chris Baker has been promoted to associate director at Four Communications division Four Culture, after 10 years at the company.
Baker joined the communications agency, formerly known as Colman Getty, as an account executive in 2008 before being made an account director in September 2012. He works on integrated campaigns across Four Communications’ portfolio of culture, creative industries and education clients including The Lowry, Pan Macmillan, and University of Dundee.
Selected as one of The Bookseller’s Rising Stars in 2015, Baker has directed national campaigns for Sky Arts and BBC Your Paintings, while international clients have included Leeuwarden-Friesland European Capital of Culture 2018 in The Netherlands and Ruhrtriennale, Germany. He has also been a corporate communications consultant for Pan Macmillan since 2016
Four Culture c.e.o. Dotti Irving said: “One of the guiding principles of Four Culture is that we spot and nurture talent and work hard to encourage and retain our brilliant staff. It’s been a source of great pleasure to me to see Chris develop his skills over the last 10 years. His promotion is very well deserved.”
Baker will be the only associate director at Four Culture where the senior management structure also includes practice director Truda Spruyt, creative director Matt Railton and account director Hannah Davies.
