Bath Festivals to return in 2022

The Bath Festival will return in May next year with the children’s edition kicking off in September, organisers have announced.

Next year’s main festival runs from 13th–21st May. The festival will open with the traditional Party in the City on Friday, offering dozens of free live music events in city venues.

Bath Children’s Literature Festival, billed as Europe’s largest standalone book festival for children and young people, will run from 23rd September to 2nd October. 

The 2021 Bath Festival was one of the first live arts festivals to take place after lockdown. It ran in May, with more than 40 authors participating, including Richard Osman, Francis Spufford and Daisy Buchanan.
