Bayley appointed news editor at The Bookseller

Sian Bayley has been appointed as The Bookseller’s news editor, succeeding Mark Chandler, who has moved to the charity sector.

Bayley joined The Bookseller as senior reporter in 2021, having previously worked for the Evening Standard and the BBC Local Democracy Reporting Wire Service. She holds an MA in Investigative Journalism from City, University of London.

Bayley takes up her post immediately, reporting to The Bookseller’s deputy editor Benedicte Page. She can be contacted via sian.bayley@thebookseller.com.
