Becky Bader appointed Headline sales director

Becky Bader has been appointed to the role of Headline sales director.

Bader has been key account director at Quercus for the past two years and has been selling the Headline lists to "major" retail accounts during this time. She was previously at Pan Macmillan. 

Group sales director Lucy Hale welcomed Bader to the role, saying she had proven herself to be "an exceptional sales professional" who had played a key role in building brands and breaking new authors at Quercus. "I love her creative approach to selling, working closely with her customers as well as her marketing and publicity colleagues to drive hugely successful campaigns," she added.

Mari Evans, Headline’s managing director, said: "Becky brings an impressive energy and enthusiasm to bear on everything she does and it manifests in clear ambition. No goal is too demanding, no challenge too great. We have a strong publishing team in place now at Headline and with Becky at the helm of our sales team, the future here feels more exciting by the day."

Bader will take up her new role later in the summer.
