Bellingcat deal leaves Bloomsbury purring

Bloomsbury has won a non-fiction title by Eliot Higgins, whose website Bellingcat identified the suspects in the Skripal poisoning.

Publishing director Alexis Kirschbaum acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from RCW’s Natasha Fairweather at auction. Polish and Dutch rights have been sold, with other negotiations ongoing.

The book will reveal how college dropout Higgins founded a groundbreaking platform in the vanguard of open-source journalism.
