Bickmore and Fry join Canongate board

Canongate has appointed Francis Bickmore and Jenny Fry to its board with immediate effect.

Publishing director Bickmore joined the company in 2000, while communication director Fry was hired in 2015.

They join c.e.o. Jamie Byng, c.o.o. Kate Gibb, and production director Caroline Gorham as executive directors of the publisher, and chairman David Young, Charles McVeigh and Jennie Bland as the company’s non-executive directors.

Byng said: “Francis and Jenny have both made very significant contributions to Canongate over the years, none more so than in 2017, a year which saw the company grow and evolve in a number of exciting and important ways. I am delighted that they are both joining the Canongate board where their impact on the business will increase yet further.”
