Grime artist and TV presenter Big Narstie has signed a book deal with Ebury Press.
Big Narstie’s debut book, How to Be Narstie, will be published on 19th March 2020. Commissioning editor Anna Mrowiec acquired world all language rights from Obi Akudike and Nathan Brown at Dice Productions Entertainment Limited.
"How to Be Narstie is the hilarious part-guide, part-memoir from the big man himself," reads the synopsis. "Drawing on his own colourful life experience, including the poverty of his childhood, his troubled teenage years and his tentative adjustment to a life of fame in recent years, it is a must-read for his many fans."
Mrowiec said: "Well, who wouldn’t want to be more Narstie? He’s hilarious, charming, entertaining, opinionated, intensely likeable and entirely himself. His book is thought- provoking (particularly on why so many kids are being failed by the system), but also an extremely funny and enjoyable read. I think it’s really going to shake up the world of publishing."
Big Narstie added: "This book is for da real gs and ladies – motivation and honesty in its rawest form."
