Bloomsbury reveals new Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Bloomsbury will release a ‘house edition’ of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second book in the Harry Potter series, in June.

Similarly to last year’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the new Chamber of Secrets will be designed by Levi Pinfold and published in four different colours, each one representing a Hogwarts house (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Hufflepuff).

The books will be released in paperback and hardback on 28th June. The hardbacks will be published in ‘house colours’, with the artwork in black and striped sprayed edges, and the paperbacks will be black with artwork in the corresponding house colours.

Both editions will contain additional content including an illustration of the house common room by Pinfold, a house introduction and a mini-feature on house-elves.

Bloomsbury announced the house edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone last year to mark the 20th anniversary of publication.
