Bloomsbury has appointed Tamsin Garrity to the newly created role of head of investor relations. She reports to chief executive Nigel Newton and group finance director Penny Scott-Bayfield.
Garrity has built her career over two decades as an equity research analyst focusing on European media, working at investment banks including Jefferies and UBS. She has extensive experience in analysing media companies, financial models, writing research, M&A and communicating with fund managers, analysts and equity sales forces.
Newton commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Tamsin to Bloomsbury as our first head of investor relations. Tamsin’s appointment underlines Bloomsbury’s long-term growth aspirations and commitment to deepening communication with analysts and both existing and potential investors. I’m confident her significant experience will add real value to our team.”
