Bloomsbury Children’s Books has hired Sarah Plows as marketing director.
Plows will begin her new role on Monday 14th October, reporting to Nicola Hill, group director of consumer marketing and publicity.
Plows will head up the Children’s Trade & Educational Division, including the Harry Potter brand team. She joins Bloomsbury Children’s division as it "builds on creative and commercial successes", including the Impossible Creatures by Katherine Rundell, The Bunny Adventures brand and YA such as Gwen and Art Are Not in Love.
Plows joins from Macmillan Children’s Books where she has worked with authors and brands such as Julia Donaldson, Dear Zoo, Marcus Rashford, comic book series Investigators, Waterstones Children’s Book Prize winner Greenwild, BookTok’s Hafsah Faizal and the heritage brand Alice in Wonderland.
In May, Plows also won a Book Marketing Society award for A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal.
