The first official companion to J K Rowling’s Harry Potter books, The Harry Potter Wizarding Almanac, an illustrated compendium of lists, charts and maps, will be published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books in October 2023.
Rooted in Rowling’s original writing, the full-colour hardback will feature foiled cover artwork, a ribbon bookmark and illustrated endpapers. Bloomsbury is collaborating with illustrators Peter Goes, Louise Lockhart, Weitong Mai, Olia Muza, Pham Quang Phuc, Levi Pinfold and Tomislav Tomić.
With 34 languages confirmed, The Harry Potter Wizarding Almanac publication will be supported by a global campaign. This will include advertising, a social campaign, creative and interactive point of sale for bookshops and libraries, and events on Harry Potter Book Day, which is set to take place on Thursday 12th October.
