Bonnier Books UK (BBUK) has confirmed that it will be moving to Macmillan Distribution (MDL) in the spring of 2025. Further direct communications with BBUK’s customers will be made in due course, according to the company.
“We’re delighted to have found a new partner in the highly talented and impressive team at MDL,” said Jonathan Perdoni, c.f.o. and c.o.o. at BBUK. “We look forward to starting our journey ahead together as we continue to expand our reach to ever more readers. We’d also like to express our gratitude to all the team at GBS [Grantham Book Services, which is closing its third party operations by late 2025] for their dedication and years of hard work throughout our longstanding relationship.”
Matthew Hogg, commercial director at MDL, added: “It has been great to have had the opportunity to discuss future logistics and distribution arrangements with BBUK and we are thrilled that they have chosen to join us. MDL is committed to providing the highest levels of service to its publishers, while ensuring focus on the needs of its customers.
“The process we have undertaken over recent months with the BBUK team has demonstrated that our businesses are well-aligned, and we look forward to working with them.”
