Natalie Butlin, previously head of commercial analysis at Bookouture, has been appointed to the newly created role of editorial and commercial insight director of Storm Publishing.
In her new role, commencing in July, Butlin will acquire her own publishing list of fiction authors and provide input into Storm’s commercial strategy.
During her time at Bookouture, Storm said “Butlin played a crucial part in the success of numerous authors, helping to launch debuts into global bestsellers and implementing strategies that resulted in significant audience growth for established writers".
She said: “I’m beyond excited about joining Storm. Having worked with many of the team before, I know exactly what to expect: innovation, creative brilliance in all areas, and integrity. I cannot wait to publish bestsellers with this wonderful team and join them in creating the best home for authors."
Deputy managing director of Storm Clare Bord said: "Natalie’s extensive experience and unique expertise in the industry are unparalleled.
