Claire Douglas’ The Couple at No 9 (Penguin) moved right into the Bookstat e-book number one spot for the week ending 9th October.
The psychological thriller has been riding high in the print charts since its release at the end of September, and now its e-book has spiked in sales enough to knock Richard Osman’s The Man Who Died Twice (Penguin) from the Bookstat top spot. Fredrik Backman’s Anxious People (Penguin) also debuted in the chart, in second place.
Mark Dawson’s Bulletproof (Unputdownable) and Rachel Lynch’s Lying Ways (Canelo) also made their entrances in the chart, scoring fifth and eight place respectively.
Clarification: Hachette has stated that Graham Norton’s Holding sold 7,972 copies, and Jeanine Cummins’ American Dirt 6,156.
