The “Bridgerton” boom in the Bookstat chart has continued, with the second title in Julia Quinn’s Regency-set romance series, The Viscount Who Loved Me (Avon), leapfrogging its predecessor to claim the number one for the week ending 16th January.
According to Bookstat’s estimates, there were only 100 units between the weekly sales of the two titles. A third Bridgerton title, An Offer From a Gentleman, swiped 10th place.
Meanwhile, Jo Nesbo’s The Kingdom (Random House) and Jodi Picoult’s The Book of Two Ways (Hodder) both made their debuts in the Bookstat top 10, as did the former Total Consumer Market Mass Market Fiction number one, Adele Parks’ Just My Luck (HQ).
Hachette has confirmed The Book of Two Ways sold 6,391 units for this time period.
