The Bookstat e-book chart saw nine new entries for the week ending 6th February. Carol Wyer’s An Eye for an Eye (Thomas & Mercer) set its sights on the top spot, with an estimated 58,725 units sold in its first week. As we’ve seen in the Bookstat chart before, Kindle Unlimited titles can garner huge weekly sales upon launch.
Crime titles dominated, with thrillers Luanne Rice’s The Shadow Box, Debbie Herbert’s Not One of Us and Daniel Pyne’s Water Memory (all Thomas & Mercer) debuting. Lynda Rutledge’s Depression-era epic West with Giraffes and Suzanne Redfearn’s “Thelma and Louise”-esque adventure story Hadley and Grace (both Lake Union) hit third and fourth respectively.
Hachette has stated that Patricia Gibney's Silent Voices (Bookoture) sold 9,947 digital copies.
