Bookstat: Childs complete chart double
Lee and Andrew Child’s Better Off Dead (Transworld) has done the double, notching up both the print and e-book number ones for the week ending 30th October.
The Jack Reacher title debuted atop the Bookstat chart for its first week on the virtual shelves, ending the three-week reign of Claire Douglas’ The Couple at No 9 (Penguin) at the top.
John Grisham’s The Judge’s List (Hodder & Stoughton) made its debut in fifth place, as Nancy Revell’s seasonal saga The Shipyard Girls Under the Mistletoe (Cornerstone) charted in sixth and former Bookstat number one Damien Boyd’s Dying Inside (Thomas & Mercer) returned to the top 20 for the first time since June.
Clarification: Hachette has stated that Holding sold 7,135 digital copies, and The Judge’s List 6,468.
