Claire Douglas' The Couple at No 9 (Penguin) notched up a second week in the Bookstat e-book number one spot, for the week ending 16th October. The psychological thriller held off a strong challenge from Joy Ellis' Fear on the Fens (Joffe), which debuted in second place.
J D Kirk's Northwind (Zertex Crime) was the second-highest new entry, debuting in third place.
Jeffrey Archer's Over My Dead Body (HarperCollins) charted in sixth place, the same week it hit third place in the Original Fiction chart in hardback, and Robert Harris' Pompeii (Cornerstone), originally published in 2003, made its debut in ninth.
Clarification: Hachette has stated that Graham Norton's Holding sold 7,286 units last week.
