Jess Lourey's Bloodline (Thomas & Mercer) topped the Bookstat e-book chart for the week ending 2nd January 2021, heading a top four of Amazon-published titles. As we have seen before, the start of the month generally sees a strong performance by Amazon books as the new Kindle Unlimited titles are announced.
This chart covers the week between Christmas and New Year, when tradition dictates that the nation sits glued to the sofa binge-watching Netflix (so different to the rest of 2020). As a result, the streaming service’s latest hit “Bridgerton” stormed into the Bookstat chart, with Julia Quinn’s first title in the series charting fifth, and sequel The Viscount Who Loved Me (both Avon) in ninth.
