Jojo Moyes’ Night Music (Hodder & Stoughton) has orchestrated a rise into the Bookstat e-book number one spot, for the week ending 27th February.
Moyes’ romance, originally published in 2009, is from her pre-Me Before You era, yet seems to be enjoying a lockdown revival in e-book. Like previous quarantine hits including Beth O’Leary’s The Flatshare (Quercus) and Nicola May’s The Corner Shop in Cockleberry Bay, Night Music seems to be occupying the “warm and fuzzy” comfort read spot.
Joy Ellis’ Secrets on the Fens (Joffe) was the highest new entry in the chart, thundering into fourth place in the top 10.
Hachette has stated that Night Music sold 14,178 copies, and Blood Orange shifted 5,172 units.
