Bounce Sales and Marketing to move to Macmillan Distribution

Bounce Sales and Marketing has today announced it will transfer the publishers under its sales and distribution contract from Grantham Book Services to Macmillan Distribution, from 1st April 2025. 

Managing director Robert Snuggs said: "The move from GBS is a bittersweet moment for all of us at Bounce. The team at GBS has given us fantastic service over the past 16 years and they have been one of the main reasons we have managed to grow our business—and that of small independent publishers—so much in that time. They have not only been our business partners, they have also become our friends, and we shall miss them very much and wish them all every success and happiness in the years ahead.

"Nevertheless, we could not be happier that we will be returning to Macmillan. Bounce would never have got off the ground without their support when we launched in 2002, and while part-ownership dictated our move to GBS, we have worked with MDL on various lists since then, as we do now in representing Little Tiger. We do feel as if we are going back home to one of the very best book distributors and look forward to working with Matt Hogg and his team in the years ahead."
