Ebury has appointed Anna Bowen as head of campaigns for its newly formed Self hub, running marketing and publicity across Vermilion and Rider.
Currently head of marketing at Orion, Bowen will join Ebury on 6th January 2020. She will report to Louise Jones, who this month joined Ebury as creative and communications director.
Bowen said: "I have loved every minute of the last four years at Orion and will be sad to leave behind such a brilliant group of colleagues, but I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining a non-fiction powerhouse like Ebury at such an exciting, inspiring time for the business."
Part of the founder team at Bluebird, Bowen won the Book Marketing Society’s Campaign of the Year award for Lean In 15. She has been at Orion since 2016, working across Trapeze, W&N, Seven Dials and Orion Sprin. She has also led campaigns for lead titles from authors such as Sarah Millican, Liz Earle, neurosurgeon Henry Marsh and Alan Partridge.
Jones added: "Anna will bring great creativity, ambition and flair to the Self hub, working closely with publicity manager Ellie Crisp and the publishing teams across Vermilion and Rider."
Jones returned to Ebury earlier this month as creative and communications director to oversee the marketing and publicity across the publisher’s new hub structure.
