The Book Trade Charity has five places in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2020 to offer runners of the publishing industry who are up to the challenge on 26th April next year.
To earn a spot on the squad covering 26.2 miles through the capital, the charity asks for a £25 registration fee and a promise to raise a minimum of £1500 in sponsorship.
Its work focuses on helping book trade colleagues with housing, in Hertfordshire and London; grants, covering everything from housing costs, rental arrears, unexpected emergencies and costs related to job interviews; and information, whether sign-posting or providing specialist advice. The charity also assists new entrants to the trade.
Those interested in running for the Book Trade Charity should contact nicki@btbs.org for further details.
