Abner Stein literary agents Anna Carmichael and Rachel Clements have been promoted to directors, as well as continuing in their role as agents.
Agents Caspian Dennis and Sandy Violette, who together have run the London-based agency as a partnership since the death of its founder Abner Stein in 2011, alongside his daughter Arabella until she stepped down in 2014, will remain partners and joint owners of Abner Stein and continue in their current roles.
Dennis and Violette said in a joint statement: “The time is right to recognise the contribution both Anna and Rachel have made to the continued thriving of the agency and to invite them to play an even fuller role in the agenting side of the business in future.
“We would like to congratulate and thank them both for their hard work and all their successes, and we look forward to continuing to work ever more closely in the future.”
